Stanley Phang
FOUNDER
At SPLC, dispute resolution is at the core of what we do, and it is where Stanley has built his practice over the past decade, across litigation, arbitration and advisory work.
His focus is construction disputes and civil litigation, with particular depth in Adjudication and Loss and Expense claims under the PAM Contract 2006. As a Panel Adjudicator of the AIAC and an Accredited Mediator (MIMC), he is able to guide a matter through the full range of options, adjudication, arbitration, mediation or court, and recommend the path that actually serves the client.
We take the view that good legal work is not only about resolving disputes, but helping clients avoid them. For the SMEs we work with, that means clear, practical advice, early risk identification, and a firm that stays close to the business it serves.

2014
-Called to the Malaysian Bar
-Admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya, beginning practice in debt recovery and tenancy litigation.
2017–2018
-Lead Counsel · RM200 Million Construction Dispute
-Led the defence in a major dispute between an international construction firm and a local developer, successfully resisting a RM100 million counterclaim.
2018
-Partner of Messrs. Marcus Tan & Co
-Panel Adjudicator · AIAC
-Passed the Certificate in Adjudication at the Asian International Arbitration Centre and was appointed to its panel.
2024
-Accredited Mediator by the Malaysia International Mediation Centre.

-Professional Diploma in International Arbitration
